Mitchell
Vice President, Human Resources, Volvo Cars of North America,
LLC.
A native of Louisa, Virginia, Ms. Mitchell holds a Masters of Science
in Education from the State University of New York and a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Sociology from Virginia State University. She
is a member of several professional organizations including the
Forum for Executive Women, The American Management Association,
The Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals, Women Unlimited Inc.,
and The Society for Human Resource Management. |

Louise
Bauschard
Louise is best known for her book Voices Set Free: Battered
Women Speak From Prison, an in-depth look into the lives of
twenty women who have been sentenced to life in prison for killing
their abusive spouses.
She has been the executive director of several non-profit organizations
addressing domestic and sexual violence and women's rights and
is a recognized expert witness for testimony of "Battered
Women's Syndrome".
She won the Emerging Woman Award presented at the First National
Conference on Battered Women & Justice, 1988, and has appeared
on numerous television shows as a spokesperson on domestic violence
including Oprah, Sally Jesse Raphael and Phil Donahue.
Bauschard is also known for her visionary approach and ground
breaking work in areas related to the tragedies of battered
women and has been instrumental in affecting the implementation
of laws to improve law enforcement and justice systems handling
in adult abuse and battered women self-defense. |

Pam
Woo
Pamela J. Woo is a senior equity research analyst on the US Equities
Research Team at Fortis Investments. Pam covers the retail, consumer
durables & apparel, leisure, and food & staples retailing
sectors. The US Equities Team, comprised of 12 investment management
professionals, manages more than $1 billion for institutional and
retail investors worldwide.
Pam earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of California
at Berkeley and her master’s degree in Business Administration
from Harvard Business School.
Pam lives in Winchester, Massachusetts with her husband, Jim
Ku, and 3 sons.

Sami Rayes
After studying Economics at the University of Southern Indiana,
Sami's career as a Middle East business man enabled him to gain
an in-depth knowledge of the culture, religion and laws of Lebanon,
Syria, Jordan, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain,
Saudi Arabia and Cyprus.
Sami provides consultancy on the Middle East and factors that
affect American Domestic Violence Crisis Line's efforts in those regions, as well as providing
American Domestic Violence Crisis Line with business development tools and web programming. |

Mark
Story
Mark Story is the Executive Director of Raphael House of Portland.
He is a local and regional spokesperson for Raphael House as
well as a panel participant and workshop leader on a range of
issues relating to domestic violence.
Prior to joining Raphael House of Portland in early 1996, Mr.
Story was Southern Regional Director of Programs for Catholic
Community Services of Western Washington.
Mr. Story has a Bachelors in Management & Communications,
Summa Cum Laude, Concordia College, 1993, and a Masters in Public
Administration from Lewis & Clark College. |

Robin
Pascoe
Robin Pascoe is an author, publisher, journalist, public speaker
and international consultant on issues relating to the overseas
living experience. Drawing on her in-depth knowledge of expatriate
concerns acquired over a 15 year residency in four Asian capitals
(Bangkok, Taipei, Beijing and Seoul), Ms. Pascoe is the author
of three books on expatriate family life.
A Wife's Guide (now its sixth printing) together with A Parent's
Guide and Homeward Bound: A Spouse's Guide to Repatriation serve
as the basis for Ms. Pascoe's entertaining and informative keynote
addresses to numerous international expatriate communities,
human resource professionals, and family support organizations
funded by multinational corporations and government agencies.
A former radio and television journalist for the Canadian Broadcasting
Corporation, Ms. Pascoe has written numerous newspaper articles,
columns and magazine pieces in addition to hosting and scripting
television documentaries in Asia and Canada. |

Kristine
Uhlman
Kristine first made National and International headlines in
the early 1980's when she fled the Middle East and a violent
husband and returned to the United States with her two children.
Within months, her children were professionally abducted back
to Saudi Arabia. When Uhlman returned to Saudi Arabia, she became
the first American woman to be imprisoned in a Saudi Arabian
jail.
Kristine serves as an expert witness for the US State Department
in cases of international child abuductions. She is a key note
speaker at American State Bar Association Meetings throughout
the United States and also at Association of Family Court and
Community Professional meetings where she addresses jurisdictional
issue and safety and security measures to prevent international
abductions. |
